Pastor of Congregational Care
The Safe Sanctuary Committee will offer Roamer Training on Sunday March 18, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to review rule changes and provide orientation and refresher for existing and potential Roamers. We will offer pizza and salad at 5:30 p.m. for anyone who is interested in sharing in table fellowship before the meeting. We need two volunteers each worship service from 8:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. to serve as monitors in the downstairs hallways. Please let Lisa Kane (Secretary@bvillefirstumc.org ) or Rev. Hodge (Jhodge312@yahoo.com) know if you can attend.
Visiting Shut-ins and Nursing Homes
Our friends who are homebound or in area nursing homes do love hearing from you and we do encourage calls and cards. Visits are also often appreciated, but during the cold and flu season, they aren’t always practical or safe. Several nursing homes are restricting visitors, so it is always a good idea to call ahead. Also, please do not plan to visit if you are experiencing any cold symptoms.
In grace and peace, Jeff
